2026 Irving S. Gilmore International Piano Festival

One of the perks of renting a Kalamazoo apartment in the Ironworks building is the proximity to many of the great events that occur downtown. Coming in the just a couple weeks is the Gilmore International Piano Festival, giving you the opportunity to experience some great live music performances.

Located on the Kalamazoo Mall, the Gilmore International Piano Festival runs from April 30th through May 10th and features a performances from some of the best pianists from around the world. With a wide range of musical genres, including classical, jazz, and pop music, the festival features Gilmore-commissioned world premieres, free community concerts, films, musical theater, and much more. This festival is a great opportunity to enjoy some great music just a short walk from the Ironworks building.
